The Mammography Voucher Program at Morton Plant Mease will benefit from the upcoming 2018 Drive for a Cure golf tournament. The golf benefit is held to raise awareness about breast health and support local efforts to offer free mammograms through the Mammography Voucher Program.
Drive for a Cure, organized by the East Lake Woodlands golfers, will be Friday, Feb. 23 at the East Lake Woodlands Country Club, 1055 East Lake Woodlands Pkwy., Oldsmar, FL. The charitable golf tournament is a scramble event and is open to men and women. Check-in starts at 10 am, a shotgun start is at 11:30 am, and dinner and auction begin at 4:30 pm.
Proceeds from the Drive for a Cure golf event will benefit the Mammography Voucher Program services at Morton Plant Mease, as well as the Florida Suncoast Affiliate of Susan G. Komen. Since 2007, the Drive has raised $240,000.
